Intern Responsibilities​

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Schedule trips and match guides to guests ensuring good risk management , delegate tasks to guides in order to make day to day operations run smoothly, and submitting trips into a system to allow things to be transferred to our staff’s payroll.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certifications

-CPR/First Aid

-Swift Water Rescue Certification

-Whitewater Guide Certification for the state of Colorado

-Ability to respond in certain situations that require quick discernment

-Proficiency in Excel

-Outstanding character to provide excellence in customer service.

BENEFITS AND OPPORTUNITIES:

-Salary pay based on an average 5.5 days worked a week. If not achieved then pay is pro rated.

Room and board is subsidized. There is an opportunity to either pay up front for room and board for the entirety of summer or have it taken out of your paycheck. In addition, dinner is provided as part of a meal plan that employees can choose to partake in.

-Recreational Opportunities include the privilege to raft through a national monument everyday and interact with different commercial outfitters on the river.

-Certification of commercial raft guide
